Diagnostic characteristics:
- anterodorsal apical seta on tarsus IV is a long prominently swollen spike
with flexible tip
- subapical ventral setal pair on tarsi II - IV are short blunt-tipped stout
spines, most obvious on tarsus IV
- four pairs of setae in the dorsal opisthosomal unsclerotized integument
- paranal setae posterior to anal opening, and postanal seta present
